Dating from the early Beaker period this arrowhead is of a group of non fancy arrowheads with pointed barbs and squared off tangs weighing under 8 gms. It is probably made from riverine or glacial flint and has been shaped (knapped) using different techniques including direct and indirect percussion, and by flaking probably with antlers for the final effect.Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age 2,300-1,500BC. Found in the parish of Worfield and Rudge
