The home of the Mander family, this National Trust property is situated just outside Wolverhampton and has wallpaper and soft furnishings by William Morris. The family made their money initially from making and selling varnish to the japanning trade and latterly selling paint. The Mander Centre in Wolverhampton which replaced a fine old Victorian Arcade is named after the family
